Stephen Sondheim to Receive SAGE Lifetime Achievement in Theatre Award

Stephen Sondheim will receive the first SAGE Lifetime Achievement in Theatre Award, at a reception with the composer, to be held on Wednesday, April 14 at Brasserie Cognac (1740 Broadway at 55th St.), from 6pm to 7:30pm.

Following the reception, SAGE members will attend that night’s performance of Sondheim on Sondheim, at the Roundabout’s Studio 54. SAGE is an acronym for Services and Advocacy for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Elders.

Tickets for the benefit evening range from $185 (performance-only) to $3,000 (4 tickets to the reception, premier performance tickets, and promotional recognition).
