St. Ann’s Warehouse and the National Theatre of Scotland will be offering free tickets to Iraq and Afghanistan veterans and active duty officers, their families, and students for the Wednesday, April 27 performance of Gregory Burke’s Black Watch.

The play is based on interviews conducted with soldiers who had been deployed to the Sunni Triangle as part of the Scottish Black Watch regiment, which dates to the 18th century. John Tiffany has directed the production, which has choreography by Steven Hoggett. This return engagement runs April 16-May 8.

Recipients of the 331 available tickets will be selected by lottery on April 6.
The lottery may be entered online by clicking here. In addition, a very limited number of free tickets will be distributed at 7pm on the night of the show on a first-come, first-served basis, to the same qualified groups.
