Sonnet Repertory Theatre Announces Casting for The Caucasian Chalk Circle

Sonnet Repertory Theatre has announced casting for Bertolt Brecht’s The Caucasian Chalk Circle, to run July 28 – August 7 at the Lion Theatre on Theatre Row. Christopher Schilder will direct the production, which will have choreography by Jolly Abraham and original music by Leo Hurley.

The play tells the story of a woman swept up in revolution who must put her own safety and future on the line for that of a young child. The company will feature Sarah Baskin, Ro Boddie, Carrie Cimma, Seth Duerr, Adam Levinthal, Matthew Ellis Murphy, Anthony Pierini, Markita Prescott, Brent Rose, Andrew Wells Ryder, Stacy Salvette, Luke Smith, and Tim Wright.

The creative team will include Seth Easter and Keven Lock (scenic design), Wilburn Bonnell (lighting design), and M. Meriwether Snipes (costume design).
