Signature’s My Children! My Africa! Extends to June 17

Signature Theatre Company has announced a one-week extension for Ruben Santiago-Hudson’s production of Athol Fugard’s My Children! My Africa!. The piece will now run through June 17 at the Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre at the Pershing Square Signature Center.
Allie Gallerani, James A. Williams, and Stephen Tyrone Williams star in the play, which examines the relationships between an idealistic classroom teacher, his gifted student, and a guest student from the local white school in 1984 South Africa.
The creative team includes Neil Patel (Scenic Designer), Karen Perry (Costume Designer), Marcus Doshi (Lighting Designer), Robert Kaplowitz (Sound Designer) and Bobby McFerrin (Music).
