It's official! Bill Condon's revival of the Henry Krieger-Bill Russell musical Side Show will open on Broadway this fall at the St. James Theatre. The production, which recently completed a run at The Kennedy Center, will begin performances on Tuesday, October 28 with opening night set for November 17.

Side Show explores the lives of Daisy and Violet Hilton, a pair of conjoined twins who toured the vaudeville circuit and whose bond was able to bring them fame, but not love. The original production, starring Alice Ripley and Emily Skinner, played Broadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre for 91 performances in 1997. It received four Tony Award nominations, including Best Musical, Best Original Score, and Best Book of a Musical.

Erin Davie and Emily Padgett, who starred in the revival when it played the Kennedy Center and La Jolla Playhouse earlier this year, will reprise their roles for the show's Broadway revival. Full casting and members of the creative team will be announced in the coming months.

The Kennedy Center production featured choreography by Anthony van Laast and musical direction by Sam Davis, scenic design by David Rockwell, costume design by Paul Tazewell, lighting design by Jules Fisher and Peggy Eisenhauer, and sound design by Kai Harada. The company also included Matthew Hydzik, Robert Joy, Ryan Silverman, David St. Louis, Brandon Bieber, Charity Dawson, Lauren Elder, Derek Hanson, Javier Ignacio, Jordanna James, Guy Lockard, Kelvin Moon Loh, Barrett Martin, Con O'Shea Creal, Matthew Patrick Davis, Don Richard, Blair Ross, Hannah Shankman, Jason Walker, and Delaney Westfal.
