Shubert Foundation Awards Record $18.2 Million in Performing Arts Grants
The Shubert Foundation has announced a record $18,215,000 in grants to support operations of 450 nonprofit organizations throughout the U.S. in 2010. Grants range in amount from $5,000 to $275,000, with $13 million of the 2010 grants allocated to theater companies in 42 states.
Among the grant recipients are the Goodman Theatre, Alvin Ailey American
Dance Theater, and Alliance of Resident Theatres/New York.
