Alan Menken, Duncan Sheik, and More Set for Music Label Sh-K-Boom's Sweet 16 Concert

The event will be presented in partnership with Symphony Space.

Grammy Award winning Sh-K-Boom/Ghostlight Records will partner with Symphony Space to celebrate the label's '"Sweet 16" birthday with a concert event on April 14. As part of Symphony Space’s series Project B-Way/95, Sh-K-Boom/Ghostlight founder and producer Kurt Deutsch will curate a special roster spanning the spectrum of contemporary and classic theater talent.

Performers will include Michael Arden (The Hunchback of Notre Dame), Brittain Ashford (Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812), Mandy Gonzalez (In the Heights), Rebecca Naomi Jones (Hedwig and the Angry Inch), Marc Kudisch (Hand to God), AnnMarie Milazzo (Bright Lights, Big City), Hunter Parrish (Godspell), gospel ensemble Broadway Inspirational Voices, and more.

Songwriters and composers performing and/or represented include Jason Robert Brown (Honeymoon in Vegas), Michael Friedman (Love's Labour’s Lost), Paul Scott Goodman (Bright Lights, Big City), Amanda Green (Hands on a Hardbody), Joe Iconis (Things to Ruin), Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey (If/Then), Michael John LaChiusa (First Daughter Suite), Dave Malloy (Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812), Alan Menken (The Hunchback of Notre Dame), Ryan Scott Oliver (35 MM), Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman (Catch Me If You Can), Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater (American Psycho), Stephen Schwartz (Godspell), Shaina Taub (Old Hats), Stew and Heidi Rodewald (Passing Strange), and David Yazbek (Women on the Verge…).

Music director Dan Lipton will lead the band.
