Second Stage Theater has extended Paul Weitz’s dark comedy, Trust, by one week, with a new closing date of September 12. Peter DuBois will direct the production, which is currently performing at the Off-Broadway venue, with an opening on August 12.

As previously reported, Zach Braff, Bobby Cannavale, Sutton Foster, and Ari Graynor star in this play, about a rich man named Harry (Braff) who looks to find something real in the most unlikely of places.

Braff plays the role of Dr. John ‘J.D.’ Dorian on Scrubs, and his theater credits include the 2002 Shakespeare in the Park production of Twelfth Night. Cannavale won an Emmy for Will & Grace, with theater credits including Mauritius on Broadway and Hurlyburly Off-Broadway. Foster won the Tony Award for Thoroughly Modern Millie, with additional Broadway credits including Shrek: The Musical, The Drowsy Chaperone, and Young Frankenstein. Graynor’s Broadway credits include Brooklyn Boy and The Little Dog Laughed.
