Broadway's Sean Hayes (An Act of God) and Mo Rocca (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) have been announced to host Stars in the Alley, a free outdoor Broadway concert. The event will take place on June 3 in Shubert Alley, between Broadway and 8th Avenue and 44th and 45th Streets. The concert will celebrate Broadway with star appearances and exciting performances from over 30 shows, accompanied by a 12-piece live orchestra.

Sean Hayes, who will star in Broadway’s An Act of God, was nominated for a Tony Award for his performance in Promises, Promises. Mo Rocca, a correspondent for CBS' Sunday Morning, appeared on Broadway in the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

Stars in the Alley is produced by the Broadway League and sponsored by United Airlines. Live music is sponsored by the Recording Industry’s Music Performance Trust Fund and Film Funds.

"Stars in the Alley showcases the excitement of musical theater and the vibrancy of Times Square all at once," said Dan Beck, trustee of the Music Performance Trust Fund. "The opportunity to help bring great live music that is free to the public is the primary goal of the MPTF."
