Scott Porter Joins The Hand Job Film

Scott Porter, who starred in the Off-Broadway musical Altar Boyz, has joined the cast of Maggie Carey’s film comedy The Hand Job, according to Variety.

The film will star Aubrey Plaza as a studious teenager who is determined to lose her virginity before she heads off to college. Porter will play a rock star whom she has a crush on.

The film will also feature Connie Britton, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Dominic DIerkes, Dc. Pearson, Donald Glover, Mae Whitman, Alia Shawkat, Andy Samberg, and Bill Hader.

Porter’s film and television credits include The Good Guy, Dear John, Friday Night Lights, and The Good Wife. He will soon be seen on the big screen in Ten Year.
