Scott Alan, Jason Robert Brown, Stephen Schwartz to Join Willemijn Verkaik at Birdland

Composers Scott Alan, Jason Robert Brown, and Stephen Schwartz will join Dutch Theater star Willemijn Verkaik at Birdland on Monday, August 22 at 7pm.

The composers will accompany the singer on work from their songbooks. Verkaik will also be backed by a seven piece rhythm and string section.

This concert will mark Verkaik’s American concert debut. The performer is perhaps best known to theater fans for originating the role of Elphaba in the German production of Wicked.
