Saved By The Bell Musical Parody Bayside! The Musical! Coming to Off-Broadway’s Theatre 80

Showgirls! The Musical! star April Kidwell will lead the cast as Jessie Spano.

Bayside! The Musical!, an unauthorized musical parody of the hit television show Saved By The Bell, is set to begin an off-Broadway run at Theatre 80 on September 12. The musical comes from Bob and Tobly McSmith, the creators of Showgirls! The Musical!

Bayside! The Musical! is billed as tackling “all the tough questions,” such as : Will Slater quit wrestling forever? Can the gang save The Max? And most important: Will Zack and Kelly break up?

The production features choreography and associate direction by Jason Wise. It is produced by John Capo and MediumFace Productions.

April Kidwell will take on Elizabeth Berkley’s role of Jessie Spano, marking the second time she steps into a role created by Berkley, having also played Nomi Malone in Showgirls! The Musical!
