Santino Fontana is temporarily out of the Broadway revival of Arthur Miller’s A View From the Bridge, which begins performances at the Cort Theatre, due to doctor’s orders resulting from a minor concussion the actor suffered during a performance of the play. Morgan Spector, who is Fontana’s understudy, will play the role of Rodolfo until the actor’s return.

The show, which is directed by Gregory Mosher, will officially open on January 24. As previously announced, Tony Award winner Liev Schreiber plays Eddie Carbone, Scarlett Johansson plays Catherine, Michael Cristofer plays Alfieri, Jessica Hecht plays Beatrice, and Corey Stolll plays Marco. The cast also features Alex Cendese, Anthony DeSando, Antoinette LaVecchia, Mark Morettini, Joe Ricci, Robert Turano, and Marco Verna.

The creative team will include John Lee Beatty (scenic design), Jane Greenwood (costume design), Peter Kaczorowski (lighting design), and Scott Lehrer (sound design).
