Mo Brady and Nikka Graff Lanzarone have announced the release of The Ensemblist's 19th episode, titled "Broadway Debuts." In the new episode of the showbiz-themed podcast, eight previous guests tell all about their Broadway debuts, with additional stories from Brady and Lanzarone themselves.
Broadway veterans featured on the episode include Donna Marie Asbury (Gypsy), Jen Cody (Cats), Stephanie Klemons (In the Heights), Eddie Korbich (Singin' in the Rain), Nina Lafarga (Aida), Nathan Peck (Dance of the Vampires), Ryan Steele (West Side Story), and Samantha Sturm (The Addams Family). Each performer discusses his or her first time on the Great White Way, from the excitement of getting the job, to the thrill of an opening night.
In addition, Brady shares a story from his first night onstage in The Addams Family, and Lanzarone reflects on the excitement of debuting as an original cast member in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown.
