Russell Simmons to Be Honored at Fortune Society Benefit

Russell Simmons, who produced the Broadway run of Russell Simmons Def Poetry Jam as well as its television incarnation, will be honored at The Fortune Society annual benefit, to be held at Tribeca Rooftop, on Monday, November 7 beginning at 6pm.
The event will also honor Capital One Bank, and will raise funds to support programs for formerly incarcerated men and women. Featured as part of the festivities will be a performance of The Castle II, a sequel to the Off-Broadway hit, The Castle.
