Rosie O’Donnell Has Married Michelle Rounds

Actress Rosie O’Donnell married her partner, Michelle Rounds, in a secret ceremony on June 9, according to People.com.

The couple reportedly had their wedding shortly before Rounds had surgery to remove desmoid tumors, a rare disease that only affects three out of every million people.

Last week, O’Donnell wrote on her blog that she had a heart attack earlier this month; her coronary artery was 99 percent blocked, and a stent was put in.

O’Donnell has appeared on Broadway in Grease and Fiddler on the Roof and produced the musical Taboo. She is well known for her television work, which includes The Rosie Show on OWN, ABC’s The View and the syndicated Rosie O’Donnell Show.

O’Donnell and her former partner Kelli Carpenter publicly wed in San Francisco in 2004, but separated in 2007.
