Tony nominee and MCC Theater coartistic director Robert LuPone (A Chorus Line) will return to the stage in Dan McCormick's The Violin at 59E59 Theaters. Directed by Joseph Discher and produced by the Directors Company in association with ShadowCatcher Entertainment, the show runs September 7-October 14, with opening night set for September 19.

LuPone stars alongside Peter Bradbury (King Charles III) as Gio and Bobby, respectively — two men who find a priceless 1710 Stradivarius violin in the back of a taxicab. Casting for an additional role will be announced in the coming months.
