Tony Award nominee Robert Cuccioli will join the cast of Broadway’s Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark at the Foxwoods Theatre as Norman Osborn/Green Goblin on Tuesday, August 7.

As previously reported, Patrick Page will conclude his run in the roles on August 5.

The show features music and lyrics by Bono and The Edge, direction by Philip William McKinley, original direction by Julie Taymor, and a book co-written by Taymor, Glen Berger, and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.

Inspired by over 40 years of Marvel comic books, Spider-Man Turn off the Dark follows the story of teenager Peter Parker, whose unremarkable life is turned upside-down when he’s bitten by a genetically altered spider and must learn that with great powers comes great responsibility.

Cuccioli received a Tony Award nomination for his performance in Jekyll & Hyde. His many stage credits include Les Miserables, And the World Goes Round, and Dietrich and Chevalier.
