Robert Cuccioli, Patrick Page, and More Will Celebrate The Broadway Musicals of 1940-1964

The latest ”Broadway by the Year” concert will take place on March 31 at The Town Hall.

Adriane Lenox (After Midnight), Robert Cuccioli (Jekyll & Hyde), Aaron Lazar (Mamma Mia!), Patrick Page (Casa Valentina), Nancy Anderson (Wonderful Town), Jeffrey Denman (Yank!), Ron Bohmer (Ragtime), Anita Gillette (Chapter Two), and Maxine Linehan (Bronte) are among the performers who will take part in The Town Hall's presentation of The Broadway Musicals of 1940-1964. Part of the Broadway by the Year'' series, the event will take place on March 31.

Now in its 14th season, "Broadway by the Year" offers an account of Broadway's history through concerts. Each evening celebrates the songs from shows of a particular year. The 2014 season will change that motto, showcasing 100 years in four concerts. The Broadway Musicals of 1940-1964 will feature material from A Chorus Line, Annie Get Your Gun, Cabaret, '"Dreamgirls, Follies, Funny Girl, Gypsy, Guys and Dolls, Kiss Me, Kate, La Cage aux Folles'', and more. Additional casting will be announced.

Created, written, and hosted by Scott Siegel, the Broadway by the Year series will continue on May 12, representing the years 1965-1989, and June 23, featuring songs from 1990-2014.
