Riverdance Announces 20th-Anniversary World Tour

The famous Irish dance show is scheduled to visit 60 North American cities.

Riverdance, the world-renowned Irish dance production, is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a world tour. The production will make stops in over 60 North American cities during the 2015-16 season.

Riverdance – The 20th Anniversary World Tour — composed by Bill Whelan, produced by Moya Doherty, and directed by John McColgan — will arrive in North America in fall 2015. The production will feature new costumes, new lighting, new projections, and the addition of a brand-new number, "Anna Livia," featuring the female members of the Irish dance troupe in an a cappella hard-shoe number.

Riverdance combines innovative and exciting dance, music, and song. The 20th Anniversary World Tour features set design by Robert Ballagh, lighting design by John Comiskey, costume design by Joan Bergin and sound design by Michael O’Gorman.

The show is scheduled to visit cities in China, Austria, Germany, Japan, Ireland, and Canada before heading to the States. North American cities and dates will be announced in the coming months.
