Richard Wilbur to Appear at 92nd Street Y on May 21

Richard Wilbur, the noted poet, translator and co-lyricist for the Broadway musical Candide, will appear in two separate events at the 92nd Street Y on Thursday, May 21.

At 3pm, Wilbur will engage in a discussion moderated by Roger Rosenblatt; at 8pm, Wilbur will do a reading of poetry and other works. He is well known for his translations of Moliere’s plays, including Tartuffe and The School for Lovers, and recently published Collected Poems 1943-2004.
