Richard Maxwell’s Ads Extends at P.S. 122 Through February 6

Ads, the new work from downtown auteur Richard Maxwell and the NYC Players, has extended its run at P.S. 122 through February 6.
The piece stages three-dimensional video recordings in the theater as theater, and features a succession of people giving brief talks about their beliefs. The work is presented in collaboration with photographer/cinematographer Michael Schmelling and Wooster Group technical director Bozkurt Karasu. The production was a featured presentation in COIL 2010 in association with Under the Radar.
