Rebecca Luker, Julia Murney, and More Join Ever After Composing Duo Zina Goldrich and Marcy Heisler at 54 Below
Goldrich and Heisler will offer a sneak preview of selections from their Broadway-bound musical adaptation.
Songwriting team Zina Goldrich and Marcy Heisler are returning to 54 Below on Thursday, June 12, for a one-night-only concert that will include selections from their extensive songbook. The performance will feature a roster of Broadway talent including Rebecca Luker (Cinderella), Julia Murney (Wicked), Karen Mason (Hairspray), Christine Pedi (NEWSical The Musical), Jill Abramovitz (Cinderella), Scott Coulter, and more. Goldrich and Heisler will perform several of their own tunes as well.
Best known for their comedic composing sensibilities, Goldrich and Heisler are the masterminds behind such popular numbers as "Taylor the Latte Boy" (made famous by Kristin Chenoweth), "Alto's Lament," and "Baltimore," recently recorded by Audra McDonald on her latest album Go Back Home. They have also composed the score for the new Broadway-bound musical adaptation of the 1998 film Ever After, slated to come to Millburn, New Jersey's Paper Mill Playhouse in May 2015.
Musicians for the evening's performance will include Michael Croiter and Mary Ann McSweeney.
