Public Theater’s Gatz, Now Extended Through November 28

The Public Theater and Elevator Repair Service’s production of GATZ will now run September 26-November 28. The production will open officially on October 6.

In the ensemble-created piece, 13 actors bring every word of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby to the stage in a two-part, 6 1/2-hour theatrical event.

The company will feature Laurena Allan (Myrtle), Jim Fletcher (Jim), Ross Fletcher (Henry C. Gatz), Mike Iveson (Ewing), Vin Knight (Chester), Aaron Landsman (George), Annie McNamara (Catherine), Kate Scelsa (Lucille), Scott Shepherd (Nick), Susie Sokol (Jordan), Victoria Vazquez (Daisy), Ben Williams (Michaelis), and Gary Wilmes (Tom).

The creative team includes Louisa Thompson (scenic design), Colleen Werthmann (costume design), Mark Barton (lighting design), and Ben Williams (sound design).
