Public Theater Announces Cast for Tracey Scott Wilson's Good Negro
The play is set in the South during the 1960s American Civil Rights movement, as a trio of emerging black leaders attempts to conquer their individual demons amidst death threats from the Klan and wire taps by the FBI. Wilson's other plays include The Story, Order My Steps, and Exhibit #9.
The cast will feature Joniece Abbott-Pratt, Francois Battiste, J. Bernard Calloway, Quincy Dunn-Baker, Erik Jensen, LeRoy McClain, Curtis McClarin, Rachel Nicks, and Brian Wallace.
