Broadway favorites Lena Hall (Hedwig and the Angry Inch) and Robin De Jesús (In the Heights) will lead a one-night encore performance of Dearly Beloved – A Concert Tribute to Purple Rain, on May 16 at 42West in honor of the late pop star Prince. Jacob Langfelder and Michael J. Moritz Jr. present the event, with Moritz also serving as music director. All proceeds for the show will benefit Arts for All.

In addition to Hall and De Jesús, the concert experience will feature E. Clayton Cornelious (Beautiful — The Carole King Musical) and Ariel Bellvalaire.

Originally produced and directed by Jacob Langfelder in 2014, Dearly Beloved features 14 original video graphics, created by JD Urban along with Burt Rock, presented on a 30-foot LED wall. The concert also includes stunts by MIXT Dance and Sound Engineering by Quinn McCarthy for the Creamery Studio. Strobes, flash, 10,000 feathers, and fog will all be used for this concert experience.

Arts for All offers accessible artistic opportunities to children in the New York City area who face socioeconomic, physical, or emotional barriers to exploring the arts.
