On Wednesday, February 3, The York Theatre Company gave the press a sneak peak at their new production of Yank!, set to begin previews at the company’s Theatre at Saint Peters on February 16 with an official opening set for February 24. Igor Goldin will direct.

Brothers Joseph and David Zellnik teamed up to write this World War II-era musical about a romantic relationship between two servicemen long before don’t-ask-don’t-tell was part of the national discussion.

As previously announced, the cast will star Bobby Steggert, Nancy Anderson, Jeffry Denman, and Ivan Hernandez; and feature Andrew Duran, Zak Edwards, Todd Faulkner, Denis Lambert, Joseph Medeiros, David Perlman, Christopher Ruth, and Tally Sessions.

The production will feature music direction by John Baxindine, choreography by Jeffry Denman, set design by Ray Klausen, costume design by Tricia Barsamian, and lighting design by Ken Lapham.
