The Off-Broadway show, Love, Loss, and What I Wore celebrated its one year anniversary at the Westside Theatre on October 7, and welcomed new cast members Aisha de Haas, Erin Dilly, Barbara Feldon, Tovah Feldshuh, and Ashley Austin Morris, who will perform in the show through October 31.
An anniversary party was held at The Palm Restaurant following the show, and included a check presentation to Dress For Success, which benefits from a portion of the Love, Loss, and What I Wore proceeds.
Love, Loss alumnae in attendance included Sherri Shepherd, Katie Finneran, Natasha Lyonne, Didi Conn, Stacy London, Julie Halston, Penny Fuller, Judy Gold, Allison Mack, Caroline Rhea, Jayne Houdyshell, and Victoria Clark. Additional guests included Alison Fraser, Amy Rutberg, Daniel Beaty, and Charles Randolph Wright.
Based on Ilene Beckerman’s 1995 book about clothes and the memories they trigger, the production is written by Nora and Delia Ephron and directed by Karen Carpenter, and recently won a 2010 Drama Desk Award. The production features a series of five-person casts that will play in four-week cycles.
