Four-time Tony nominee Tovah Feldshuh and film star and theater veteran Ally Sheedy were on hand to introduce a special advance screening of the new film Ten Stories Tall at AMC Empire 25 on Tuesday, November 30. Proceeds from the screening benefit benefit the Ellen Hermanson Foundation, which serves breast cancer patients in Long Island.

Directed by David Garrett, the film tells the story of two close-knit New York families as they struggle with the death of a family matriarch and the ailing health of a beloved son, forcing all to reconcile their relationships before it’s too late.

Feldshuh was most recently seen on Broadway in Irena’s Vow. She was Tony-nominated for Golda’s Balcony, Lend Me a Tenor, Yentl, and Sarava. Sheedy has starred on stage in Advice from a Caterpillar, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and Triptych, and is well known for her performances in such films as The Breakfast Club and High Art. Both actresses are featured in Ten Stories Tall.
