The cast of Manhattan Theater Club’s production of Molly Smith Metzler’s Close Up Space offered a benefit performance for The Alzheimer’s Association, New York City Chapter on Tuesday, January 24. The dinner was followed by a reception at Trattoria Dell’Arte

The play, directed by Leigh Silverman, centers on an obsessive book editor on a major deadline, who has to deal with numerous distractions.

The company features David Hyde Pierce, who serves on the Board of the National Alzheimer’s Association, along with Michael Chernus, Jessica DiGiovanni, Colby Minifie, and Rosie Perez.
