PHOTO FLASH: Marin Ireland, Lisa Kron, Oskar Eustis, et al. Celebrate the Opening of In the Wake

Public Theater artistic director Oskar Eustis, executive director Andrew D. Hamingson, and associate artistic director Mandy Hackett joined playwright Lisa Kron, director Leigh Silverman and the cast of Kron’s In the Wake at the show’s opening night on Sunday, November 1.

The play, which played earlier this year at Berkeley Rep and the Kirk Douglas Theatre, centers on a freelance writer and her friends as they try to make sense of the contested presidential election of 2000 and the events of the following years..

The company features Jenny Bacon, Michael Chernus, Marin Ireland, Susan Pourfar. Miriam F. Glover, Deirdre O’Connell, and Danielle Skraastad.
