PHOTO FLASH: Kevin Spacey and Katie Couric at The New York Times Arts & Leisure Weekend

On Thursday, January 6, The New York Times 10th Annual Arts & Leisure Weekend featured talks with Tony Award-winning actor Kevin Spacey and CBS News anchor Katie Couric.

As previously reported, highlights of the series, which runs through January 9, will also include talks with Robert Redford (January 8, 4pm); Rufus Wainwright and Martha Wainwright (January 8, 8pm); Steve Buscemi, Michael Shannon, Paz de la Huerta, and Terence Winter (January 9, 4pm); and Billie Joe Armstrong and Michael Mayer (January 9, 8pm). In addition, Ashley Brown, Heidi Blickenstaff, Merle Dandridge, Christopher Jackson, Tshidi Manye, Josh Strickland, and Alton Fitzgerald.will join Tim Rice for Sir Tim Rice & Friends (January 7, 6pm).

Spacey’s many stage credits include Lost in Yonkers, The Iceman Cometh, A Moon for the Misbegotten, and Speed-the-Plow. He is the artistic director of London’s Old Vic Theatre. He is a two-time Academy Award winner, for The Usual Suspects and American Beauty, and is currently on the big screen in Casino Jack.

Couric is scheduled to make a guest appearance in the episode of the hit FOX series Glee, which will air after the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 7.
