PHOTO FLASH: Katie Finneran Honored at 2010 Broadway Beacon Awards

Inside Broadway’s 2010 Broadway Beacon Awards were held on Thursday, June 17 at 5:30pm at The Players Club. FOX5 News reporter Julie Chang hosted the event

The event honored Tony Award winners Katie Finneran and Anthony LaPaglia, along with Jacob
Clemente, Michael Dameski, Alex Ko, Liam Redhead and Dayton Tavares, who share the title role in Billy Elliot, Cristyne Nicholas, CEO of Nicholas & Lence Communications, and Harry Coghlan, president and general manager of Clear Channel Outdoor’s New York and Spectacolor Division.

Presenters included Mayor Michael Bloomberg, actor Brooks Ashmanskas, and casting director Nora Brennan. Inside Broadway’s executive director Michael Presser was also on hand for the ceremony, which featured a special performance by Hugh Panaro.

Inside Broadway develops and produces touring equity musical productions as well as vital after-school arts programs that allow New York City students to interact with professionals in the field and experience theater.
