Talk show host Kelly Ripa, with son Michael Consuelos, and celebrated composer John Kander attended the Friday, December 2 performance of the Off-Broadway production of SILENCE! The Musical at 9th Space Theater at P.S. 122. Christopher Gattelli has directed the production.

The show, with a book by Hunter Bell and music and lyrics by Jon and Al Kaplan, is an unauthorized parody of the thriller Silence of the Lambs, which focuses on rookie FBI agent Clarice Starling as she uses her relationship with Dr. Hannibal Lecter to hunt serial killer Buffalo Bill. It previously played an extended engagement at Theater 80 earlier this year.

The company features David Garrison (Hannibal Lecter), Jenn Harris (Clarice), Stephen Bienskie (Buffalo Bill), Lucia Spina (Catherine Martin), and Deidre Goodwin (Ardelia Mapp) as well as Callan Bergmann, Pamela Bob, Harry Bouvy, Ashlee Dupré, Howard Kaye, Topher Nuccio, and Doug Trapp.
