PHOTO FLASH: Jesse L. Martin Attends Broadway’s Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark

Stage and screen star Jesse L. Martin attended the Wednesday, June 6 matinee performance of Broadway’s Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, at the Foxwoods Theatre. Afterwards, he and family friend Bradley visited with Spider-Man cast member Luther Creek.

The show features music and lyrics by Bono and The Edge, direction by Philip William McKinley, original direction by Julie Taymor, and a book co-written by Taymor, Glen Berger, and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.

Martin most recently appeared on Broadway in The Merchant of Venice, and is well known for his work as Tom Collins in the Broadway and film versions of the musical Rent. He starred as Detective Ed Green on NBC’s Law & Order.
