PHOTO FLASH: Derek Jacobi Receives Honorary Doctorate from Juilliard

Sir Derek Jacobi received an honorary doctoral degree from The Juilliard School at its 106th Commencement Ceremony, held in Alice Tully Hall on Friday, May 20.
Jacobi is currently starring in the title role of King Lear at BAM, and as previously reported, will appear alongside actors Richard Clifford and Monica Raymund to perform selected readings from Shakespeare’s The Tempest as part of a benefit performance for Juilliard’s Drama Division, to be held at Juilliard on Monday, June 13.
