An industry reading for the Broadway-bound rock musical White Noise was held on Friday, October 1.

The show, conceived by Ryan J. Davis, features a book by Matte O’Brien with music and lyrics by brothers Robert and Steven Morris, along with Joe ShaneThe show’s score has already generated significant industry buzz, and Oscar winner Whoopi Goldberg has already signed on as a producer.

The reading was directed by Sergio Trujillo, and starred Marc Kudisch, Mackenzie Mauzy, Emily Padgett, Patrick Murney, Patrick Heusinger, Luba Mason, Rodney Hicks, and Antwayn Hopper.

In the musical, billed as a “cautionary tale,” Eva and Eden Siller have established a small following as folk singers promoting messages of white power when they are discovered by a successful New York music producer who convinces them they can penetrate the mainstream, dramatically increasing their power, by simply coding the lyrics to their hate songs.
