PHOTO FLASH: Anthony Fedorov and Natalie Wachen Join the Cast of Rent

The Off-Broadway production of Jonathan Larson’s Rent, at New World Stages welcomed American Idol finalist Anthony Fedorov and Natalie Wachen to the roles of Roger and Mimi on Wednesday, June 11.
Original director Michael Greif helms the revival of the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical, which is inspired by Puccini’s La Boheme and tells the story of a group of friends in the East Village at the height of the AIDS epidemic. As previously reported, the production will close on September 9.
Fedorov and Wachen join cast members Shaleah Adkisson (Joanne), Nicholas Christopher (Collins), Josh Grisetti (Mark), Emma Hunton (Maureen), Rashad Naylor (Benny), and MJ Rodriguez (Angel), as well as Margot Bingham, Amber Iman, Marcus Paul James, Aaron LaVigne, Taylor Trensch, Morgan Weed, Xavier Cano, Sean Michael Murray, and Genny Lis Padilla.
