Lincoln Center Theater’s visually opulent production of William Shakespeare’s Cymbeline opened last night. Here’s star Martha Plimpton, who plays Imogen, with her proud papa, actor and songwriter Keith Carradine.
Tony Award winner Michael Cerveris once again shows off his Shakespearean skill as Imogen’s husband, Posthumus.
After the show, British actor Jonathan Cake — who plays the scheming Iachimo — caught up with wife Julianne Nicholson and Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes.
The star-studded cast also features two more Tony winners: Phylicia Rashad, who plays the evil Queen…
…and the great John Cullum, who plays her husband, King Cymbeline.
On Thursday night, the Flea Theater officially unveiled Will Eno’s Oh, the Humanity and other exclamations. Here’s leading lady Marisa Tomei with her very pregnant friend, the brilliant Lili Taylor.

On Wednesday evening, the Alvin Ailey Dance Theater kicked off its annual season at City Center with a lavish gala. Among the guests were one of the dance world’s most beloved couples, Carmen deLavallade and Geoffrey Holder…
…along with record and fashion mogul Russell Simmons, his girlfriend Porschla Coleman, and the Reverend Jesse Jackson.
Finally, when the 19-day Broadway strike ended on November 29, Broadway’s biggest stars couldn’t wait to get back work and greet the fans. Here’s the lovely Sierra Boggess, who plays Ariel, the title role, in Disney’s The Little Mermaid…
…and two of her co-stars, the fabulous Sherie Rene Scott, who plays the evil sea witch Ursula…
