Two more major events happened on Monday night. Over at Carnegie Hall, the New York Pops held a gala anniversary concert featuring such stars as Anika Noni Rose, John Lloyd Young, and Diana DeGarmo…

…Tony Award winner Lea Salonga, on her night off from playing Fantine in the Broadway revival of Les Misérables…

…and Carnegie Hall favorite Michael Feinstein, who returns to his namesake club at the Regency Hotel next month with a special tribute show to the late, great Bobby Short.

Meanwhile, the first annual Mr. Broadway beauty (and talent!) pageant was held at New World Stages to benefit the Ali Forney Center. Tovah Felshuh hosted, and Seth Rudetsky, Scott Nevins, and Nancy Opel served as celebrity judges, but the final vote was in the hands of the audience.
