Peter Cormican, Scott Guthrie, Natalie Newman, et al. Set for Musicals Tonight’s Up in Central Park

Casting has been announced for Musicals Tonight’s presentation of Up in Central Park, to run March 29 – April 10 at the McGinn-Cazale Theatre. Thomas Sabella-Mills will direct the piece, which will have musical direction by James Stenborg.

With a book by Herbert Fields and Dorothy Fields, lyrics by Dorothy Fields and music by Sigmund Romberg, the show, set in 1870s New York, focuses on a host of characters interested in or involved with fraud that may have been connected with the construction of Central Park.

The company will feature Scott Guthrie (John Matthews), Peter Cormican (Boss Tweed) Travis Morin (Thomas Nast), Natalie Newman (Rosie), and Chelsea Barker (Bessie) along with Graham Bailey, John Coughlan, Sam Eggers, Lauren French, Emily Glick, Andrew Mauney, Michael Mott, Jeffrey Pew, Kari Ringer, Richard Rodgers, and Gavriel Savit.
