Patty Duke to Guest Star on CBS’ Hawaii Five-O

Academy Award winner and stage veteran Patty Duke will guest star next season on CBS’Hawaii Five-O, according to EW.com. She will play an Alzheimer’s-afflicted woman, whose child is murdered.

Duke made her Broadway debut as Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker and recreated her performance in the film version, earning an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She recently directed a production of the show for the Interplayers Theatre in Spokane, Washington.


Her other Broadway appearances include Isle of Children and Oklahoma!, and she played Madame Morrible in the San Francisco company of Wicked.

Duke’s many television and film credits include The Patty Duke Show, Valley of the Dolls, My Sweet Charlie, and It Takes Two.
