New York City Center announced today that Patrick Wilson will join the cast of its previously announced upcoming Encores! concert staging of Brigadoon. The production marks Wilson’s welcome return to the City Center stage, having appeared in the Encores! production of Tenderloin in 2000. He will replace Steven Pasquale who was previously confirmed to appear.

Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe's Brigadoon will be directed and choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon (An American in Paris). Tony nominee Robert Fairchild (An American in Paris) is also set to star in the production.

The first performance of Brigadoon will be held on November 15 as part of New York City Center's annual gala, honoring City Center board cochair and Broadway producer Stacey Mindich. An additional five performances will be held November 16-19. Funds raised at all six performances of Brigadoon will subsidize affordable tickets throughout the year to programs such as Fall for Dance and Encores! Off-Center.

Brigadoon, which debuted on Broadway in 1947, follows Tommy Albright (Wilson), a jaded New Yorker who gets lost in the Scottish Highlands and stumbles into an idyllic town that only appears for one day every century. He quickly becomes smitten with the headstrong Fiona MacLaren (O'Hara) and makes an enemy of the rebellious Harry Beaton (Fairchild), bringing about a chain of events that could spell doom for the entire town.

Rob Berman will serve as music director, and Jack Viertel will serve as artistic adviser.
