Our Town to Close Off-Broadway September 12; Michael McKean, David Cromer, Scott Parkinson to Return to Show

The long-running Off-Broadway production of Thornton Wilder’s Our Town, at the Barrow Street Theatre, will play its final performance on September 12. David Cromer has directed the production.

The cast is currently headed by Academy Award winner Helen Hunt as the Stage Manager through August 1. Academy Award nominee Michael McKean will return to that role August 3-22, with Cromer reprising his turn as the Stage Manager for the final weeks, August 24-September 12. In addition, another former Stage Manager, Scott Parkinson, will play the part for the matinees on August 28 and 29 and September 4 and 5.

The current cast also includes Elizabeth Audley as Mrs. Soames, Jeremy Beiler as Simon Stimson, Robert Beitzel as Howie Newsome, Kati Brazda as Mrs. Webb, Will Brill as Joe Crowell, Jr, Nathan Dame as Sam Craig, Roger E. DeWitt as Joe Stoddard, Ann Dowd as Mrs. Gibbs, Emma Galvin as Rebecca Gibbs, Jennifer Grace as Emily Webb, Mark Hattan as Constable Warren, Jake Horowitz as Wally Webb, David Manis as Mr. Webb, Daniel Marcus as Professor Willard, James McMenamin as George Gibbs, Jeff Still as Doc Gibbs, Jason Yachanin as Si Crowell, with Dana Jacks, Lynn Laurence, Kathleen Peirce, Keith Perry and Mark Shock.
