Original Follies Cast Members Will Take Part in BroadwayCon Panel

Several original cast members from the Stephen Sondheim-James Goldman musical Follies will reunite for a panel discussion at BroadwayCon 2018.

Follies: The Original Production Reunion will feature original stars Steve Boockvor, Mary Jane Houdina, Denise Pence, and Kurt Peterson, alongside orchestrator Jonathan Tunick and production assistant Ted Chapin (author of the musical's biography, Everything Was Possible). Jennifer Ashley Tepper will serve as moderator.

With music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a book by James Goldman, Follies was codirected by Harold Prince and Michael Bennett. Telling the story of a reunion of showgirls at a theater about to be demolished, the original production ran 522 performances at the Winter Garden Theatre from 1971-72.

BroadwayCon will take place January 26-28 at the Jacob Javits Center.
