One Touch of Venus, Panama Hattie, Up in Central Park, et al. Set for Musicals Tonight’s 2010-2011 Season

Musicals Tonight has announced its 2010-2011 season at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre.

It will begin with Panama Hattie, with music and lyrics by Cole Porter and a book by Herbert Fields and Buddy DeSylva, which will run October 12-23. The company will also produce Ralph Blane and Abe Burrows’ Three Wishes for Jamie (October 26-November 6); One Touch of Venus, by Kurt Weill, Ogden Nash, S.J. Perlman, Elia Kazan and Agnes DeMille (February 8-20); the American premiere of Theodore & Co by Ivor Novello, Jerome Kern and George Grossman, Jr.(March 15-27); and Up in Central Park by Herbert and Dorothy Fields, Sigmund Romberg, and Michael Todd. (March 29-April 10).
