Anthony Wilkinson will reprise his starring role in My Big Gay Italian Wedding opposite One Life to Live‘s Scott Evans for a benefit performance at the St. George Theatre on Staten Island on September 12. Sonia Blangiardo and Teresa Anne Cicala will direct.

The story centers around the planned wedding between Anthony Pinnunziato, a gay Italian-American who comes from a large, chaotic Italian family, and his reformed playboy boyfriend, Andrew Polinski. The work originally premiered Off-Broadway at the Actor’s Playhouse in 2003.

The cast will also feature Brett Douglas, Randi Kaplan, Concetta Nichilo, Laura Gaspari, Carla-Marie Mercun, Joe Grimaldi, Liz Gerecitano, Erik Ransom, Diana Limon, Chad Kessler, Kevin McIntyre, Philip Brock, and Dan Hicks.

The show will donate part of its proceeds to the Lustgarten Foundation for pancreatic cancer research. For tickets and information, visit www.stgeorgetheatre.com.
