The NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts has announced the dance, film, music, and theater events planned for its 2012-2013 season.

The Skirball Center will begin the season by continuing its role as a host for the National Theatre Live series, which broadcasts via satellite from London, by presenting The Curious Incident of the Dog in Night-Time (September 10), adapted by Simon Stephens from Mark Haddon's celebrated novel. Other highlights of this season's series include The Last of the Haussmans (October 11) and Timon of Athens (November 12).

Other theater-related highlights will include the U.S. premiere of Audience (October 30-November 3), an inventive production from the Belgian company Ontroerend Goed. The season will also include the U.S. premiere of Not by Bread Alone (January 16-February 3), in which the members of the Nalaga'at Theater, the world's only professional deaf-blind acting company, take the audience on a magical tour of their inner world.

Dance events include Monica Bill Barnes & Company (October 20) and The Oracle (February 7-9), by Australian choreographer Meryl Tankard. The Joshua Light Show (September 13-15), the legendary group of live music visualists founded by multimedia artist Joshua White, will lead the season's music offerings, which will also feature ukuele wizard Jake Shimabukuru (November 30) and The Black Arm Band (February 22).
