NYFOS and Juilliard Present Invitation to the Dance

Casting has been announced for Invitation to the Dance, to be presented by The New York Festival of Song, in collaboration with Juilliard. Steven Blier will direct the program, which will be presented in the Peter Jay Sharp Theater at Juilliard on January 18, 2012 at 8pm.

Invitation to the Dance will celebrate both songs about dancing and songs with dancing. Michael Barrett will be on piano, with percussion by Andrew Stenvall

The cast of singers will include sopranos Simone Easthope and Karen Vuong; mezzo-sopranos Elizabeth Sutphen and Rachael Wilson; tenors Kyle Bielfield, Nathan Haller, and Miles Mykkanen; baritone Tobias Greenhalgh; and bass-baritone Leo Radosavljevic.
