The Pershing Square Foundation will donate a $25 million gift to Signature Theatre, which will name its new Frank Gehry-designed home the The Pershing Square Signature Center. The Center will officially open on January 30 with a company gala honoring Edward Norton.

The initiative will also help fund the Signature Ticket Initiative: A Generation of Access, and guarantee audiences access to affordable and accessible tickets to every Signature production for the next 20 years.

Signature’s new season begins on January 31 with Athol Fugard’s Blood Knot, and also includes productions of Fugard’s The Train Driver, Katori Hall’s Hurt Village, and Edward Albee’s The Lady from Dubuque, among other plays.
